Dr. Sabina Squires DVM, CVA
OWNER VETERINARIAN AND CERTIFIED VETERINARY ACUPUNCTURIST
Dr. Sabina Squires grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Biotechnology from the University of Kentucky. She later received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in 2008. In 2014 she became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist through the CHI Institute in Florida. Her medical interests include emergency medicine, husbandry (animal care), internal medicine, dermatology, behavior of small animals, exotics (including non-venomous reptiles and pocket pets) and eastern medicine.
She loves to spend time with her family and pets. She has two mixed-breed dogs “Aries and Starbuck”; cats “Mr. Higgins Narwhal, George, and Potato”; Leopard Gecko’s “Fink and Farva”; and a colony of Eastern Box turtles including over thirty-year-old “Candy”. Her other hobbies include gardening, boating, wakeboarding, skiing (water and snow), soccer, coloring, knitting, and coordinating a local book club. She belongs to the American Veterinary Medical Association, Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association, NW Louisiana Medical Association, and Independent Veterinary Practitioners Association.
